who am I?

I am the child of curiosity that is inspired by 90’s cartoons, MTV culture, music, nature (real one and human) and visual poetry of life all filtered through the lens of my experiences. 

Through my life I have worn a lot of hats, which gave me a broad perspective on understanding this world and myself, and I can say that I still haven’t grasped neither of them yet, ha ha. No surprises there.  

After years of working as a video producer and graphic designer I returned to my long-forgotten love of drawing. I started from scratch, learning, practicing, failing and falling in love with it.  I was again that little kid that just draws for fun, creates comic books, crazy characters and letters in his school notebooks. 

Now I can’t stop drawing and creating funny, quirky, colorful and interesting characters, stories and letters.  As great Michelangelo once wrote to his student: “Draw Antonio, draw and don’t waste time.”, or something like that, hence the name “Draw Davor Draw”, which is a result of my passion for the craft and type of mantra that keeps me going.
